Break a Leg! Middle School Drama Guild Returns to the METG Stage

The St. John's Prep Middle School Drama Guild returns to the METG Drama Festival with its production of "The Witches." The Guild will perform at 10 am on Saturday, April 30 at Millis High School.

Photos from the dress rehearsal are available on SmugMug.

"This play, more than any St. John's Prep Middle School play thus far, is composed of so many different moving parts," said director and Middle School theater arts teacher Brit Christopher. "There are more props than we've ever used, more makeup than we've ever applied, lots of thoughtful costume design work, detailed sound design, nuanced lighting design, complex set transitions--and some really talented actors. I'm so proud of all of the work that's gone into making this such a three-dimensional piece of theatre. With The Witches, there's bound to be some magic."

Participation in the annual one-day drama festival provides students with the unique opportunity to share their work with other member schools. Professional adjudicators evaluate students’ work and present awards for both acting and technical excellence in your production.
