There's a huge world outside of the classroom to explore, and that's what student life at St. John's Prep aims to tap into. Whether a student tries a club for the first time that develops into a lifelong hobby, they really love something in particular and want to find others to share that passion with, or they want to hone their leadership skills, moderators and the student life team are here to support whatever it is that students love to do.

No One Walks Alone 

Transitions like coming to a brand new school or moving up to the high school can be big steps to take! That's why we have intentional, age-appropriate programs and structures in place to help students throughout their Prep journey. 

• Turf Nights (Middle School): Even before orientation, all Middle Schoolers are invited to campus to hang out and play games with each other. It's a low-key way for boys to get to know one another even before orientation. 
• Eagles Nest Orientation (6th grade) and Eagles Wings Orientation (9th grade) are two-day-long programs that take place before school starts. Students are able to meet their classmates, go through a mock school day, see where their classrooms are, and learn about all of the support resources available to them. 
• Freshman Life Coordinator: When the Middle School started, so did a new position on campus—our freshman life coordinator. The freshman life coordinator's sole role is support the freshman class, both those students who come from our middle school as well as those brand new to St. John's Prep. They meet with each freshman individually, help them navigate social interactions, finding a new club, communicating with a teacher, and serve as an additional point person for freshman parents.
