The Prep experience plays out on the field...
Learn how to fuel your body. Try new ways to move. Push yourself past the point you thought you could reach. Understand the importance of making healthy decisions. Create physical foundations that set you in motion.

...and on the stage.
Walk across campus and see the Magnolia tree by Memorial Gym in full bloom. Work clay until your hands are caked with it. Put your headphones on and get lost in the rhythm of piano practice. Savor a breath of crisp air during a mid-winter outdoor practice. Appreciate the beauty of place, people, and presence.
“We tell the kids that no one is looking at you. Everyone is in the same place and are all struggling at some point so just free fall into whatever you are doing. The Fine Art Department is a real safe space for students to take risks.” — Fine Arts Faculty Member
It's shaped by friends...
Let loose. Have fun. Get to know a new classmate. Bond with someone who shares your interests and values. Explore into the deep questions with your best friends. Then pass it on and help a younger student get his feet under him. Watch your network morph and grow until your classmates truly have become your brothers.
“On the first day of school my shadow host from the previous year went out of his way to make me feel welcome.” — Current Student

...and shapes you.
Cultivate a strong sense of self-awareness and positive self-image. Practice resiliency. Learn how to breathe deeply and manage life when times are tough. Pack your bag with skills you’ll use for the rest of your life.
