Robotics Workshop

701. Robotics Workshop
Rising 6th through 10th graders

The Summer Robotics workshop will explore the world of robots using the Lego Mindstorms NXT robots. The participants will be introduced to different parts of the robots and how they interact through a series of projects that the participants will build and test. Emphasis will be on the students building and testing the robots. Each robotics project will build on what has been done before so students will expand their knowledge of the robot as the class progresses. The workshop will be conducted in the Computer Lab in the A. E. Studzinski Library which houses the robotics program and provides access to the computers where the students will program the robots. There are multi-media facilities for the presentation of information to aid the campers on their journey with the robots.
