Mountain Biking Summer Information

Mountain Biking Racers,
- The fall races start just a couple weeks after school begins. Whether you will be using your free time during the summer to do some racing, some longer/fun rides, or even some bike trips, keep riding your bike on a regular basis. Training rides will start out with some hard sessions right away, and we'll be at the gym day one, September 5. Here are the places to find bike races throughout the summer: https://www.bikereg.com/.
- If you want a more casual way to test your fitness and skill this summer, there is a weekly MTB Time Trial series in Lynn Woods on Monday evenings all summer long. Just $5 for juniors (you guys) and $10 for mom and/or dad. Send me an email, email@example.com and I'll fill you in.
- Make sure your bike is good to go. Perhaps you have outgrown your old bike or it's just played out and you're getting a new one—there are substantial discounts available to high school racers; please reach out to me and/or Coach Miserandino, for more information.
- Please get all updated medical information, including an updated physical, into the school nurses as soon as possible. Mail to: St. John's Prep, c/o School Nurses Office, 72 Spring Street, Danvers, MA 01923. Medical information can also be faxed to 978-774-5767 or dropped off in the Keefe main office Monday through Thursday between 8–4 pm.
