David Brooks has been an Opinion columnist with the New York Times since 2003. Known for his social and political commentary, Brooks also authored Bobos in Paradise: The New Upper Class and How They Got There, On Paradise Drive: How We Live Now (And Always Have) in the Future Tense, The Social Animal: The Hidden Sources of Love, Character, and Achievement, and most recently, How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen. Brooks has also appeared as commentator on “PBS NewsHour,” NPR’s “All Things Considered” and NBC’s “Meet the Press."
