Ray Carey '67 Diversity Fund Golf Tournament

The 2026 tournament will be held on Monday, June 8.

Since 2010, members of the St. John's community have come together for this annual golf tournament to help advance the Prep's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Throughout his life as a teacher, coach, advocate and mentor, Ray Carey '67 has believed that diverse communities are strong communities. The Ray Carey '67 Diversity Fund was established to foster an inclusive community at St. John's by providing need-based tuition assistance for students of color and by supporting the important work of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Community Development. Since its inception, the Ray Carey '67 Diversity Fund has had a direct and positive impact at St. John's. With your support, these efforts will continue to strengthen our community, now and in the future.

From St. John's Prep campus drive down Summer Street to North Street. Take a left at the intersection and drive to Route 1. Take Route 1 North and follow until Country Club Way. Take a right on Country Club Way and follow path, entrance will be on the left. 
 

Event Schedule

  • 10:30 am: Check-in opens for golfers; Driving range and putting green will open for practice
  • 11 am: BBQ lunch opens
  • 11:45 am: Driving range and putting green close; BBQ lunch ends; all players report to their carts
  • 11:50 am: Welcome and prayer
  • 12 pm: Shotgun start
  • Cocktail reception to follow; Awards program to begin after all scorecards are submitted

Food

At this year's tournament, we will be offering a BBQ lunch for all registered golfers. A brief speaking/awards program will occur at the end of the tournament. A cocktail reception will follow. Cocktail reception will host a cash bar and heavy appetizers.
