Tuition and Assistance
We believe that St. John's offers an unparalleled educational experience and an exceptional value among private schools in the Boston area. We also believe that a Prep education should be available for every qualified young man, regardless of financial need. That's why we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance.
Tuition Assistance Application Process
- Tuition Assistance Application: The Prep's Tuition Assistance application opens in October for all families. Families apply through Clarity Financial Aid. You must select "St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA)" in order for us to receive your application.
- Current Families: Tuition assistance is not renewed automatically. Current students who receive tuition assistance must re-apply each year. The 2025-2026 academic year's deadline is December 1, 2024.
- Prospective Families: The deadline to apply for tuition assistance for the 2025-2026 academic year is January 6, 2025.
- Process and Forms: Applications are submitted through Clarity Financial Aid. Clarity provides a Family Application Guide (en Español) for families as they apply for tuition assistance.
-
Clarity Support: In-app support is offered through the “Help” button in the lower left corner of the Clarity website. Support is also available via email or phone by calling 206-210-3752.
-
Clarity Webinars: Clarity hosts several Application Info Webinars for families. During the live sessions, they will go over some key aspects of the application, things to look out for, materials to gather, how to get help, how the tax verification process works, and a robust Q&A. Typically these will run for about 60 minutes and recordings will be made available following the conclusion of the webinars.
