A Day in the Life at St. John’s Prep

From morning classes and meaningful conversations to afternoons filled with athletics, arts, and service, our students’ days are shaped by purpose, curiosity, and community. Follow along as Prep students share what life is really like at St. John’s

Our Faculty

Faculty not only serve in the role of "teacher," but also as motivating mentors and inspiring role models. They work to challenge our students, while embodying servant leadership in its purest form.

80% of our faculty hold advanced degrees. When they aren't in the classroom, you may see them moderating a club or co-curricular meeting, or leading an interscholastic sports team to another championship. Our faculty is engaged in not only your learning, but in the entire Prep community.

We talk a lot about the professionalism and intelligence and the power that is in our faculty, but what runs parallel to that is this deep level of caring for our students, and that they feel seen and are heard, and are able to find themselves here on this campus.

Xaverian Education

Guided by our Catholic faith and imbued with the spiritual values of the Xavierian Brothers, St. John’s Prep develops boys of all faiths, spiritual traditions, and backgrounds into young men of character, whose confident belief systems stand firm in an unsettled world. The Xaverian Brothers' spiritual values—compassion, humility, simplicity, trust, and zeal—play a huge role in daily life and learning.

Read about our mission and values—both of which are fundamental to who we are as a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School for young men.

What makes the St. John’s experience special is the fact that there is a space for everyone to find their own place on campus. St. John’s shows us that we belong to something bigger than ourselves, but how you choose to express that is specifically your own... Our community is strong not because we’re all the same, but because we’re uniquely different, and we choose to show up.
