Center for Mission and Research
The Center for Mission and Research connects St. John’s with the world around us. The Center promotes interdisciplinary inquiry and action through the focus areas of environmental sustainability, global health and wellness, innovation and design, and justice and peace.
The Center offers unique opportunities for intellectual problem solving, social change, and community engagement through its signature academic program—the Advanced Research Capstone course. Through programs and initiatives inside and outside the classroom, the Center encourages thinking critically, taking risks, and building resilience while engaging humanity’s biggest challenges.
