Summer Institute at the Prep

Have you ever wanted to try something completely new and different? Do you want to develop skills for next year or enhance your college resume? If that sounds like you, you'll find something fun and interesting at the St. John's Prep Summer Institute.

Who can take summer courses?

Our coed summer classes are open to girls and boys entering grades 7 through 12. Courses are taught by experienced Prep faculty and working professionals. Course dates, duration and costs vary, so check the specific course listings.

The Prep for Prep program is open to incoming Prep students in the Class of 2016. More information is available in the Parent Portal.

What do you offer?

You'll find a wide variety of courses for all interests - everything from music and world languages to math, writing and study skills! And for upcoming 8th graders, we offer the Aspire program to give you an idea of what to expect in prep school. We are adding courses for Summer 2012, so check this page for updates or email Sandra Martin with questions.

What if I need a flexible schedule?

We offer afternoon options designed to provide a safe, supervised and enriching time for your son or daughter until you can pick them up in the afternoon.

What if I don't find what I'm looking for?

Email us  with your request and we'll gladly look into creating a new course! And check back here because new classes will be added soon.
