Technology
The Technology Department strives to support the students, faculty, and staff as they use technology in their support of the mission of St. John’s Prep. In particular, we provide training and support to faculty and encourage them to incorporate technology in their teaching and learning. We provide technical support for all the hardware and software on campus that is used by all employees and students. The goal of the Technology Department is to prepare all St. John's Prep students to be both confident and competent in the use of technology wherever they may find it in their future studies.
Network Connectivity
St. John's Prep has a robust network infrastructure consisting of fiber optic cabling between all buildings on a 1Gbps backbone with 100Mbps switched connections to all wired ports. Our wireless network offers complete roaming coverage over all the buildings on campus with a combination of 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g signals. Access to the wireless network is restricted to school owned computers and properly registered student computers.
