A very special thank you to everyone who made the second annual Be.Love Fit Fest a wonderful community event filled with loads of Prep pride. We welcomed more than 80 participants and volunteers, and with the generosity of nearly 200 donors, we raised more than $35K to support tuition assistance at St. John's.
The Be.Love Fit Fest honors John A. Driscoll, a 1990 Prep grad, dedicated member of our swim community, Dean of Admission, our 2015 Distinguished Alumnus, and a passionate advocate for student tuition assistance at St. John's Prep.

State of the Prep: 5 major Takeaways
Every Gift Tells a Story
During the last week of school, we gave students the opportunity to write thank you notes to faculty and staff members who made a positive impact on their school year. Over the course of just one weekend, 90% of our students took us up on the opportunity. 90%! Their overwhelming response illustrates what a difference faculty and staff make in the lives of our students every day. One 6th grader wrote to his math and science teacher... "Thank you for a great year at SJP. Thank you for answering all of my questions and helping me whenever I need it. You are the nicest teacher I've ever had."
The Fund for St. John's provides the necessary resources to hire top-notch faculty and staff and provide professional development so that they can continue to refine their craft. After all, our most valuable resources at St. John's are the people who teach, mentor, and inspire our students.
First Annual Giving Day

We're Here To Help
For more than 14,000 St. John's alumni living around the world, the network of Prep professionals is a remarkable resource. Graduates of every age benefit when they are able to connect across industries, meet rising talents, find mentors, ask for advice from someone who has been there and done that and more. In short, there is nothing more powerful than the sense of community that comes from being a St. John's Prep graduate.
To facilitate this professional connection–and to bring people together for events across the country and around the world-the Prep has made a significant investment in programs and online tools to support all of our graduates' needs and interests. From career development to family fun to lifelong learning, the St. John's alumni office is working hard to ensure that we are growing alongside our graduates from the day they receive their diplomas to their first jobs, reunions and beyond.
The Alumni Office is led by Nibal Awad, Managing Director of Alumni, together with Alumni Engagement Coordinators Paul McNamara '69 and Sean Sawyer '11 and Alumni Office Assistant David Rodriguez '15. With the support of the restructured Alumni Board, the Alumni Office's top priority was to be a resource for all our graduates.
Thank you for making this year a success! We look forward to seeing you back on campus or at one of our regional events. If you would like to get involved or have an idea to share, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
